HALTOM CITY -- Our son, Austin Dusty Lee Rhodes, also known as Bobo, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014. Service: 2 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home, 517 N. Sylvania Ave., Fort Worth. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday. Austin was born Oct. 16, 1989, in Fort Worth to Ralph and Pat Rhodes. Most of his life was spent in Haltom City, where he graduated from Haltom High School in 2010. He was knowledgeable in all phases of construction and enjoyed that type of work. He shared in the construction of our home and garage and loved every minute of it. He loved operating machinery and started driving heavy equipment around the age of 5. Working on his old truck was a favorite pastime. His favorite things were his girlfriend, Eileen, his son, Ethan, his cousins, his friends and country music. Austin had a heart the size of his favorite state, Texas. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. For 25 years he filled our lives with joy and love. Our hearts are broken, but we know that we will be reunited someday. Survivors: Parents, Ralph and Pat Rhodes of Haltom City; son, Ethan Eubanks of Garland; girlfriend, Eileen Kata; siblings, Mandi Rhodes of Arlington, Samantha Acker of Athens, Shawn Mackey of North Richland Hills and Chris Gordon of Grand Junction, Colo.; and a host of other loving family and friends.
