FORT WORTH -- Francisco "Frank" Alejandro, 93, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014, surrounded by his family. Service: Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday at All Saints Catholic Church. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with rosary at 7, at Calvario Funeral Chapel (formerly Shannon North). Francisco was born June 22, 1921, in Fort Worth to Tomas and Tomasa Salas Alejandro. He was a World War II disabled American Army Veteran and was proud of his service to his country. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus fourth degree assembly 1089. At 93, Frank lived a long, happy life, joking, laughing and always enjoying his family and friends. Frank never knew a stranger and was always a very impressive individual to all. If you ever spoke to Frank you knew him and he knew you instantly. He was a one-of-a-kind husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be missed by many. Survivors: Wife of 72 years, Amy; sons, Frank Jr. and wife, Margaret, and Robert Alejandro; brother, Tom Alejandro; sister, Lucy Garcia and husband, Guadalupe; grandsons, Frank III, Danny, Jerry, Tommy and Nicholas; granddaughter, Gracey; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other nieces, nephews and family members.
