Laura Maxine Murphree

AZLE -- Laura Maxine Murphree, 82, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 17, 2014. Graveside service 11am Thursday at Ash Creek Cemetery in Azle. Laura, the daughter of William and Thelma Sammons Raines, was born in Whitley County, Kentucky. She retired from Frito-Lay after 33years of service. Following retirement, she became a caregiver to the elderly. She was a member of Azle Apostolic Church. Laura was preceded in death by sons, Bobby, Jr, and Walton. Survivors, husband, Bobby Murphree; children, Phillip Murphree, Sharron Murphree, Lydia Mann, Loretta Simmons; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Phillip Lowery.
