Margaret Knowles

SAGINAW -- Margaret Aleene Knowles, 94, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at Saginaw Church of Christ. Interment: Mount Olivet. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Calvario Funeral Chapel (formerly Shannon North).   Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to Christ's Haven Children's Home, Keller. Aleene was born Feb. 20, 1919, in Hunt County to William Hansford and Lucy Netta Pippin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Knowles, and her granddaughter, Julie Spraggens.        Survivors: Sons, Bill Knowles and wife, Kaye, and Herschel Knowles and wife, Joy; daughters, Donna Spraggens and husband, Richard, and Jean Reeves and husband, Paul; sister, Lona Mae Elkins; 12 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
