Nellie Myrtle Cowden

Nellie Myrtle Cowden, 95, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. Funeral Service: 1:00 PM Monday at Calvario Funeral Chapel in Fort Worth. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM prior to the service. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Nellie was born August 27, 1921 in Doyal, Oklahoma to the late George and Bessie Steel. Nellie was preceded in death by her children, Paul McClenny, Larry McClenny, Loretta Jaynes, Priscilla Hamilton, and Christine Tobias. Survivors: Daughter, Shirley Pettis and husband Ray; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and extended family members.
