Pauline Marie Barney

Pauline Marie Barney, 99, passed away Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Monday at St. Philip Presbyterian Church Burial: 10 a.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Williams and Lucas Funeral Home, 517 N. Sylvania Ave. in Fort Worth. Pauline was born Dec. 15, 1915, in Tulsa, OK, to Christopher and Grace Fikes. She married Fred Barney in 1934. Pauline and Fred moved to Fort Worth in the early 1930's. They then moved to Kilgore and Odessa before moving back to the Fort Worth area. Pauline and Fred retired to their cabin on Possum Kingdom Lake, before moving to Mineral Wells and later years to the Court Yards at River Park. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Barney; and sister, Maxine Reed and her husband Herb. She was a beautiful spirit loved by all. Survivors: Son, Fred Barney Jr. and wife Shirley; daughter, Jan Schuster and husband Ron; grandchildren, Randy Schuster and wife Mary, Scott Schuster and friend Nancy, and Barry Barney and friend Tim Reyna; great-grandchildren, Ryan Schuster, Julie Kirby, Brett Schuster, and Bailee Schuster; great-great-grandchildren, Camden, Everett and Piper Kirby; brother, Jack Fikes and wife Martha; and many other loving family members and friends.
