RIVER OAKS -- Robert (Bob) Wilfred Peel left this earth to be with his Creator on January 28, 2016. Funeral: 10 am Monday in the Chapel of Calvario Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Visitation: 4-6 pm Sunday at the Funeral Home. Interment: Aurora Cemetery in Aurora. Wilfred was born and raised near Springtown, Texas, and served in the Navy before settling in Fort Worth with his bride Ada. In 1949, he began his career with Armored Motor Service and continued driving armored cars for 60 years, finally retiring at age 82. A committed Christian who lived his faith, Wilfred was ordained as a Baptist deacon in 1959 and he served his God, his church, and his neighbors in multiple ways - from church treasurer and Sunday School teacher, to caring chauffer and faithful friend. God granted us many wonderful years with this devoted husband and father, and for that we will be eternally grateful. Daddy was deeply loved, and he is already deeply missed. Survivors: Wilfred is survived by Ada, his loving and devoted wife of 67 years; and his three children, Barbara Moreland and husband Tom Bruhns of Seattle, Elaine Bennett of Spokane, Washington, and James Peel and wife Brenda of Fort Worth. He was also “Grandad” to Chris Moreland, Tonya Parker, Brandon Peel, and Bret Peel, and to three great-grandchildren. Calvario Funeral Chapel 111 W. Northside Drive, 817-624-2191
